I’m Sara, and as you can probably guess- I love to make things from scratch. After many requests from friends for my recipes and craft projects, I created this site as a way to share them with the world. I hope that you enjoy them, and that maybe you’ll be inspired to try a few yourself!
To tell you a bit about myself:
I have a Bachelors Degree in English from the University of Kansas, with an emphasis in creative writing. I love to cook, knit, craft, and basically anything that involves turning simple, individual elements into a fabulous product. I am mostly self-taught, as I watched a lot of Food Network as a teenager and recently discovered knitting tutorials on Youtube. Send me your favorite DIY blogs or projects, I’m always looking for new and creative ways to make things from scratch!
I work in Kansas City as an account manager at a fantastic digital marketing company: emfluence. Since the beginning of 2012 I have learned an unbelievable amount about email marketing, social media, SEO copywriting, and account management.
